THE BRIEF

NEW COLLABORATION WITH LINH FOR HER FIRST ALBUM :
BOÎTE À MUSIQUE

Linh once again placed her trust in us for her new J’avoue, part of her upcoming album Boîte à musique.

The shoot took place in the heart of a centuries-old oak forest, about one hour from Nice.
The goal of this music video was to create a magical and mysterious atmosphere. This production was a real technical challenge, as we also had to handle the creation of special effects.

To achieve the best possible result, we shot with our ARRI Alexa 35 for greater detail, richer colors, and optimal quality. This image quality allows us in post-production to obtain a more realistic integration between the footage and the special effects. Another challenge for us was to produce the entire video while having to imagine the luminous VFX that would later be added to the final cut.

REALIZATION

THE NEW CHALLENGE OF SPECIAL EFFECTS

For this music video, we incorporated special effects. For this part, we collaborated with Terminus Studio, a Paris-based post-production agency specializing in 3D animation and VFX.

As you saw in the video, we imagined a golden fairy, which was first created in 2D. It was then modeled by the team and integrated into each shot we had previously filmed. A long and meticulous task for the Terminus team, who also had to ensure perfect consistency with our footage.

To further enhance the fantastical dimension of the story, the Terminus Studio team also modeled mountains floating in the sky, reinforcing the feeling of a parallel universe.

An ambitious, demanding, and deeply inspiring project. Another visual exploration alongside Linh.
